GB Energy – Texaco sponsors PGA Tour in Punta Cana

GB Energy – Texaco was proud to sponsor such a prestigious event that rivaled any of its kind.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic March 25th – 31st 2019.- GB Energy – Texaco sponsored the PGA TOUR that was recently held in Punta Cana, an event attended by around 132 international golfers and renowned sports and business figures, who competed for a three-million-dollar prize (considered the highest in the history of Dominican sports) and points towards the FedEx Cup.

The Puntacana Resort & Club is home to the first PGA TOUR Event held in the Dominican Republic. This year, the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship in its second edition was held from March 25th to March 31st, 2019 at the Corales Golf Club, an exclusive 18-hole course with miles of natural cliffs and majestic coralina quarries.

There were representations of countries like Argentina, Mexico, United States, Spain, Belgium, China, Germany, Japan, France, Sweden, Australia, Switzerland, England, and of course, the Dominican Republic.

The GB Energy – Texaco brand was proudly present in promotional structures within the Corales Punta Cana golf course; in addition to a premium Sky Box in front of hole # 9. There, GB Energy – Texaco shareholders, executives, clients, family, and friends gathered to witness this exciting tournament.

Some of the competitors who participated in the men’s golf circuit were professionals such as Davis Love III, who has achieved 21 victories on the PGA TOUR; Charl Schwartzel, winner of the 2011 Masters; and Hunter Mahan who has obtained six victories in the competition.
