Port Lafito adds Industry Veteran to lead the Port

Port-au-Prince, Haiti, February 8, 2017

Port Lafito S.A. is pleased to announce that Vino Kumar will be joining the team as its General Manager.   Mr. Kumar has spent the last 27 years in various positions within the industry and most recently was the Director of Operations and Logistics with CMA CGM’s Regional office in Miami.

We have recently completed our first full year of operations and Vino will now reinforce the port’s management team and guide it through the next step in its development. We are adding new cargo and facilitating job creation through partnerships such as Citadelle / Kolos Cement and RSI whom are currently ramping up their operations in the Business Park and Lafito Free Zone respectively” said Reuven Bigio, VP of the Board of Port Lafito.
